Chappy is a flashy 2008, 16.2 hand, Thoroughbred, gelding. Chappy was relinquished to the ILEHC by his caretakers when his owner suddenly passed away. Chappy was a decent racehorse having retired from racing in 2013 with 13 in the money finishes out of 36 starts, and with earnings over $42K. Chappy is very sweet, super quiet, and sound for any riding discipline. He is currently being trained in basic dressage and would make an excellent hunter or dressage prospect. Chappy also has lots of miles hacking around the farm and out on the trails. Chappy has very little or perhaps no sight in his left eye, however, it does not deter him from anything! He is very quiet and not at all spooky despite being visually impaired.
